Victoria Abramchenko, the head of Rosreestr (Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography), is offering to use blockchain on the secondary housing market.
She notes that blockchain application should be preceded by switching hard-copy paperwork of the agency to digital one. Besides, one should create a personal account of a rightholder, allowing citizens to review necessary information on property they are interested in: property rights, owners’ history, existence of mistakes and corrections.
The head of Rosreestr also says that blockchain on the secondary housing market can be applied for property with an approved and transparent history.
